The Seattle Fire Foundation helps provide the essential tools, equipment and training resources to keep SFD firefighters safe and improve their ability to better protect us all.
Why We Need Your Help
Every city is challenged by a lack of resources to meet its critical needs, and Seattle is no exception. Approximately 97% of the Seattle Fire Department’s budget is committed to personnel and operational expenses.
That leaves just 3% of the budget to invest in desperately needed technology, essential equipment and training resources. Our goal is to create partnerships with the community to fulfill the unmet needs of the Seattle Fire Department.

Invest in ways to improve the health and wellness of the firefighters
Deepen the connection between the Seattle Fire Department and the communities it serves
