On September 10, firefighters, neighbors, business and community leaders, partners, and friends filled the room for Bids for Bravery.
Some had supported the Seattle Fire Foundation for years. Others were joining us for the very first time.
But everyone came together around one shared belief:
the people who show up for Seattle every day deserve a community that shows up for them, too.
And You Did.
Together, you helped raise $300,000 and counting, making Bids for Bravery the most successful fundraising event in Seattle Fire Foundation history.

Guests heard directly from Seattle firefighters about the realities of the job, mental health and wellness, and the importance of having support when the people who care for our city need care themselves.
It was an honest conversation — and a powerful reminder that supporting Seattle's firefighters means supporting the people behind the uniform.
