POSITION OVERVIEW

The Seattle Fire Foundation seeks a dynamic Executive Director to lead our organization through its next phase of growth. This role offers the unique opportunity to build a premier fire foundation from a volunteer board to a professional organization while making a direct impact on public safety in one of America's most dynamic cities.

You'll spearhead fundraising initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure Seattle's firefighters have the cutting-edge equipment and training they need to save lives and return home safely. With Murdock Grant funding secured, we're ready to hire immediately.

The Seattle Fire Foundation (SFF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2019 to provide essential tools, equipment, and training resources not covered by the Seattle Fire Department's operational budget.

Our Mission: With 97% of SFD's budget allocated to personnel and basic operations, SFF fills the critical 3% gap that enables innovation, enhancement, and excellence in fire services.

Our Impact: Since founding, we've raised over $1.1 million to support Seattle's 978 firefighters across 33 fire stations, directly impacting over 112,000 emergency responses annually.
